Itinerary Overview:

Day 1 | Huaraz to Llamacorral Basecamp: Depart Huaraz by car, traveling through the small towns of Caraz and Cashapampa. From there, you will begin your trek (6 hours) towards Llamacorral where you will camp in a grassy meadow amongst enormous peaks.

Day 2 | Llamacorral Basecamp to Taullipampa Basecamp: Begin your trek early to amble past turquoise lakes towards the Alpamayo viewpoint. You will camp out at the stunning Taullipampa basecamp with views of Taulliraju, Artesonraju, and Quitaraju.

Day 3 | Taulllipampa Basecamp to Cachinapampa Basecamp: Conquer the high point this morning as you cross Punta Unión and the stunning lake below. Continue with an easy downhill towards Cacinapampa with spectacular views in all directions.

Day 4 | Cachinapampa Basecamp to Huaraz: On the final day of your Santa Cruz Trek it is an easy downhill towards La Vaqueria where you will be picked up and returned to your hotel in Huaraz.
