Itinerary Overview
Day 1 | Quito to Coca: Fly from Quito. Your Amazon experience begins when you step aboard the luxury Anakonda Amazon Cruise boat. Cruise down the Napo River while familiarizing yourself with the boat and it’s facilities, before taking a night walk to experience nocturnal creatures.
Day 2 | Amazon Cruise: Spend the morning exploring the rainforest on foot. In the afternoon, navigate the flooded eco-system by canoe, on the look out for river dolphin, black caiman, monkeys, turtles, and anaconda. Spend the evening relaxing aboard the Anakonda.
Day 3 | Amazon Cruise: Experience the culture of the Amazon with a visit to a local school, followed by an onboard lecture and documentary screening. Travel upsteam in style aboard your luxury Amazon cruise before exploring one of the largest river islands.
Day 4 | Amazon Cruise: Visit an observation tower 100-feet high for a unique perspective on the jungle. Travel on to Limoncocha Biological Reserve to spot wildlife before heading out on a night safari for caiman and anacondas.
Day 5 | Coca to Quito: Make the most of your final morning with an early wakeup to hear bird sounds and calls of the jungle. You will then be transferred back to coca by motorized canoe before flying on to Quito.
