The Cooking Class Cusco
Firstly, you will be picked up from your accommodation in Cusco at 11:00. Thereafter, you will visit the colourful and vibrant San Pedro Market. You will get a taste of the unique and organic local products. Also, you pick up the best quality ingredients to cook with here. You will smell, taste and discover all the amazing ingredients Peru has to offer. Afterwards, you head back to the kitchen to start your course.
Set in a pristine mecca, the cooking class Cusco is heaven for foodies and wannabe chefs. The views of Cusco are breathtaking and this also creates an amazing atmosphere for cooking. You begin the lessons by making a delicious Pisco Sour. Therefore, you begin the lesson on the right note. You drink your handmade Pisco Sour on the beautiful terrace.
After the Pisco sour, you will start preparing the entrées. All the recipes are culturally unique and original. The chef is a real master in Peruvian cuisine. And then you will learn all about beautiful Peruvian dishes. There is a choice of two entrées, Tiradito de pescado (which is rainbow cured trout) or Ceviche de Mango (for vegans). Both are delicious, healthy and a wonderful way to impress people with your innate knowledge of Peruvian cuisine. Then you move onto the main course, which is a Mushroom Quinotto (Quinoa Risotto). After you have perfected the recipes, it’s time to dig in!
Finally, after learning, drinking and eating well it’s time to go home. Thereafter you will go back to your accommodation. Here you can reflect on a wonderfully tasty and satisfying day.
