As you descend into the Colca Valley you will be immersed in its spectacular natural beauty. Your guide will highlight the diverse Andean wildlife, such as the majestic condors or the native llamas and vicunas as well as the spectacular volcanic vistas. Day One – Arequipa – Reserva Pampa Cañahuas – Yanque
Your adventure begins in Arequipa with a private transportation service to the Colca Valley. You visit the intriguing Pampa Cañahua National Reserve where you will see an array of Andean wildlife including llamas, vicuñas and Condors! Your english speaking guide then leads you to the Patapampa Pass to take in the majestic views of the snow-capped volcanoes. Around lunchtime you will descend into the Colca Valley to your luxury bungalow accommodation where you will spend the night. The afternoon and evening is yours to take advantage of the facilities and activities offered at Belmond Casitas del Colca and their 24 hectares ranch, as highlighted above.
*Lunch & Dinner in Belmond Casitas del colca are not included and must be purchased separately during your stay.
Day Two:Yanque – Cruz del Condor – Chivay – Arequipa
The morning begins early with a delicious breakfast buffet at Belmond Casitas del colca, before a trip to the Cruz del Condor lookout. Here you will see the magnificent Andean Eagles soaring through the Valley. You’ll then drive along the rim of the beautiful Canyon, discovering the quaint towns of the Valley along the way. You will then return to Arequipa via private transport to conclude your Luxury Colca Canyon Tour.
