Day One – Arequipa – Reserva Pampa Cañahuas – Yanque
Today, you’ll being your Colca Valley adventure with a visit to the lovely Pampa Cañahua National Reserve. Here, you will meet diverse Andean wildlife. For example, you may encounter animals like llamas, vicuñas and Andean eagles! Next, you’ll climb up to Patapampa Pass and take in unparalleled views of the surrounding snow-capped volcanoes. Finally, after a day of adventure, you will descend into the Colca Valley and spend the night at the luxurious Colca Lodge and spa.

Day Two:Yanque – Cruz del Condor – Chivay – Arequipa
To begin the day, you’ll head into Yanque village to watch a performance of the traditional Wititi dance. Afterward, you’ll trek up to Cruz del Condor lookout point to watch the magnificent Andean condors. While in their natural habitat, the condors look as if they’re dancing on the air currents! Next, you’ll drive along the rim of the beautiful Colca Canyon, discovering ancient Inca agricultural terraces that are still in use today by local farmers, and stopping for photo opportunities at the very best panoramic viewpoints.
