Day 1 | Cusco to Salkantay Lodge: As the sun paints the Peruvian sky with hues of promise, embark on an amazing trip. Our tour begins with a morning breakfast at the historic Tarawasi ruins, a testimony to the Inca history.
Venture through the mountain hamlet of Mollepata, ascending to Marcoccasa along the fabled Camino Real. This historic route, the Royal Path, unveils a six-hour odyssey of moderate trekking, allowing you to acclimate to the high-altitude splendor.

Day 3 | Salkantay Lodge to Wayra Lodge: Gear up for the ultimate adventure! Rise early to conquer the Rio Blanco Valley, encircling Humantay Peak and facing off against Salkantay Peak. The climax awaits at Salkantay Pass (4,638m/15,216ft), treating you to unrivaled views of Vilcabamba Range and the majestic south face of Salkantay. Keep your eyes peeled for Andean condors soaring above. Descend to Wayra Lodge (3,850m/12,631ft), named after the Quechua word for wind, “Wayra,” symbolizing the wind’s abode. Savor a hot lunch on the trail and a delightful dinner at the lodge. Brace yourself for a six to eight-hour hike packed with awe-inspiring moments.

Day 5 | Collpa Lodge to Lucma Lodge: Take a hike (5-6 hours) along the Santa Teresa River valley before a car transfer to the newly restored Llactapata Inca Trail. Relax for the evening at the Lucma Lodge, a picturesque lodge set on an avocado plantation.

Day 6 | Lucma Lodge to Aguas Calientes: Today, you’ll hike (4.5-5 hours) towards Llactapata Pass, an extraordinary Machu Picchu viewpoint. After lunch, will descend towards the Aobamba River where you will take a train to Aguas Calientes. Here, you will get a good night’s rest before the main event – Machu Picchu!

Day 7 | Aguas Calientes to Cusco via Machu Picchu: You will wake up early for the short bus ride to Machu Picchu. At the park, explore with a guided tour and hike to Huayna Picchu (optional). Return back to Aguas Calientes by bus, before taking the train to Ollantaytambo and a private transfer back to Cusco.
