TOUR OVERVIEW -FULL DAY MACHU PICCHU TOUR:
Best way to see Machu Picchu in one day? This tour is the answer! Your full day Machu Picchu tour starts at a more relaxed time of the morning. Your driver will meet you at your Hotel and take you on a picturesque, leisurely drive to the little town of Ollantaytambo.
From there you will be escorted to the train station where you will take a classic journey on a modern and comfortable train to the town of Aguas Calientes. Sit back and relax as you take in the beautiful scenery on the way.
On arrival to the cute town of Aguas Calientes, a transfer guide will meet you to show you to the bus area. You will then board the bus for a short ride up to the Machu Picchu entrance, where you will be met by your private guide who will take you the rest of the way on your Machu Picchu day trip.
Once you pinch yourself to the fact that you are really here, your guide will explain the history of the ruins and you will have plenty of time to explore at your own pace. Don’t forget your camera!
Late afternoon, we will head back down to Aguas Calientes where you will have some time to check out this little village before making our way back on the train to Ollantaytambo and then again by private transfer from there back to your Hotel.

Next up, board your train, the Voyager class in tourist service, departing at 11:15 am. Sit back and enjoy the picturesque 90-minute ride to Aguas Calientes, where adventure awaits.
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, a friendly face will be holding a sign with your name on it, ready to guide you to the bus station for Machu Picchu.
The bus ride to Machu Picchu will be a brief 25 minutes, but the memories will last a lifetime. Your knowledgeable private guide will meet you upon arrival and lead you on a captivating two-hour exploration, unveiling the wonders of Machu Picchu.
After soaking in the awe-inspiring beauty of Machu Picchu, hop on the return bus to Aguas Calientes. Take your time to indulge in a delicious meal, explore the quaint town, or even unwind in the soothing thermal baths.
As the day winds down, head to the train station at 6:30 pm to catch your 7:00 pm train back to Ollantaytambo. Just like your journey here, the return trip will be in comfortable tourist service, ensuring a relaxing ride.

Juan Carlos was our guide at Machu Picchu and he knew where all the great places were and the knowledge that he had about the Incas was told in such a manner that it was pure storytelling skills. We enjoyed the train ride to and from Ollantaytambo as the trains were very clean, comfortable, and luxurious. What we appreciated most was having our own private tour. We did not want to be large herd of cattle. Would highly recommend!
