Waqra Pukara was something else. Just me, the mountains, and Rodrigo, our guide who really knew his stuff. The hike was tough at times, but the views made it all worth it. Rodrigo told us stories about the Incas that gave the place a whole new meaning. When we finally saw the fortress, I just stood there in awe. If you’re in Cusco and want a real adventure, this hike is totally worth it.
