We were more than delighted to visit Muyuna. The area is beautiful and well conserved. Our guide was fantastic, a local person that kindly answered all of our questions. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. The food was delicious, and the staff attentive and charismatic. We could not recommend Muyuna more.

Katherine was incredibly accommodating and communicative in regards to my trip. I booked my trip back in December 2019 to take place in April 2020, and then the pandemic hit. She honored the rates quoted four years ago for this trip and advised me well on best options. A couple of issues had popped up regarding guides not being able to make settled-upon-dates and Katherine always had solid options and solutions. The trip itself was once in a lifetime – the 4 day trek was the right level of challenging and interesting, the 3 days in the Amazon were mind-blowing. I highly recommend booking your next Peruvian adventure through Katherine and PIE!
Our 4-day stay at the Muyuna lodge was excellent. The lodge was clean and comfortable and you can hear all the sounds of the jungle, day and night. The guides are local and they know a lot about the flora and fauna in the Amazon region. The food was delicious (breakfast, lunch and diner) and fresh fruit, coffee and tea were offered for free all day.
